What can I do if my mail seems to take forever to download?
Often, this problem is caused by a very large email in your new email. Our servers are trying to send you that mail and, depending on the size of the email, it could take a very long time. Your mail client and our mail server will not remove the email in question until it has completely been downloaded to a mail client and a request to remove is issued by your mail client. (this will happen unless you have selected leave email on the server.)
This is a perfect opportunity to use WebMail. Just go to the URL webmail.boo.net and you can get look at all of the mail from any browser. All you need to know is your USERID and PASSWORD. Your USERID should NOT have the "@boo.net" appended to the end of your USERID name. WebMail lets you look at all of the items first, then you can look at or delete items in any order. There is an indicator of the file size in the mail summary window. Scan your summary list to see if there is a problem email sitting on the server.
